Kevin & Olivia first met in September of 2020, but Olivia has had her wedding planned in her head for a long time! When he purposed on a beach up north, Olivia turned to Knot.com to help keep track and organize the fine details of their November 2022 day.
When it came to the venue, St. John's Resort was the first place they looked at and the minute Olivia saw it I knew she it was THE place. She "humored my husband {Kevin}" and looked at a couple more places, but knew the Resort at St. John’s was it. Kevin and Olivia got ready in the lovely hotel rooms at the resort.
For Kevin and Olivia, this was the first time their huge family was all together at one time in the same place since the pandemic started. Having everyone there, make it perfect! The theme was black and white. Their guests were asked to wear black while attending the wedding.
Olivia bought her dress from Bridal Couture of Plymouth. They are super close to her house, so she figured she would give them a try. She said she went in with an idea of what she wanted in mind, but was willing to try on anything and found something she loved that was completely different, but perfect!
Kevin & Olivia had a wonderful reception in the Grand ballroom following their Provincial ballroom ceremony. It was truly lovely and we could all feel the love and support from their friends and family.
I asked Olivia if she has any advice to give couples who are planning a wedding. She replied, "It’s your day. Do what you want, don’t listen to others". That sounds like great advice to me!
