Jackie and Jason came to us by way of Naomi & Logan, a couple who's wedding we photographer a few years ago. I knew on our first meeting that I was going to enjoy their wedding just as I did her niece's!!
The Prestige banquet hall is located on a prominent corner in the cute downtown area of Allen Park, Michigan. Jackie & Jason had their April ceremony in a separate chapel area at the venue. Above the ceremony area is a nice area for the bridal party to get ready! Here are some photos from before the ceremony.
Jackie & Jason had a short but sweet wedding ceremony. The room was filled with the love of their friends and family. It was lovely!
After the ceremony, they greeted their guests with a receiving line as friends and family moved to the cocktail hour in the reception area. They signed their marriage certificate, along with Jackie's mom and Jason's dad as witnesses.
Time for formal photos! Jackie and Jason really liked the green wall feature in the gathering area outside of the hall so we did photos out there.
The reception was lovely, decorated in pink and blue with a touch of sparkle! Jackie's brother gave a touching speech before they cut the cake and had a delicious dinner.
After dinner, the party was started with the couple's first dance. This family knows how to party and they did not disappoint this evening!
It was our honor to document this part of Jackie & Jason's love story. We could feel the love and support from their family and friends on their special day and are so sure they'll have a wonderful life together!!
