February in Michigan can be very cold but winter weddings are so magical! Not only was Tony & Alex's wedding on a cold day but it was during the Ice fest that is hosted by the city of Plymouth (super cool exhibit, btw). We decided to stay inside for photos but the Meeting House Grand Ballroom made it such an easy decision with it's beautiful decor and spacious, dare I say grand (see what I did there?) rooms.
Alex and her girls got ready on site while the guys arrived already dressed to the nines!
The Meeting House set up chairs for the ceremony. The couple had an impressive arch draped with sheer fabric and lovely flowers at the front of the ceremony site and beautiful trees made of lights at the entrance to the aisle.
And then, family photos. This time during a wedding goes so quickly but these are the pictures that everyone looks at for generations! Having a list prepared helps us to get every grouping done in a timely manner. This group was full of pros! It took no time at all :) Here are a few:
Now it's time for the party!!
Cutting the cake. Aren't they the cutest?!
First dances!
It was a total honor to document this beautiful wedding filled with laughter, fun and love! Every family member and friend that attended was so happy for the couple. It was such a fantastic evening!
